Montpellier MINH29 Plug in Induction 29cm Domino Hob
Montpellier MINH29 Plug In Induction 29cm Domino Hob
Our MINH29 29cm induction domino hob adds a new dimension of cooking to any kitchen. It is really easy to install – simply plug in & cook.
General Specification
Make the best use of space by opting for a two zone hob rather than a four or five zone, or simply add more zones to an existing kitchen – this Montpellier Induction Domino Hob offers a perfect solution. It is a 2 cooking zone hob, but the 2 zones can also merge into 1 larger cooking zone when required with Flex Zone.
Power
- Zone 1 1800/2000W
- Zone 2 2800W (Flex zone)
- Zone 3 1800/2000W
Induction Cooking
Using induction technology, the pan* is heated directly rather than wasting energy heating the cooking surface. As a result of this, food heats up quickly and there is little residual heat from the cooking surface.
*Pan must have a high iron content due to induction working on magnetism.
Timer
The 99 Minute Timer can be used in 2 different ways. As a Minute Minder, in this case the timer will not turn any cooking zone off following the allotted time. Or as an Individual Zone timer – set durations to turn one or more of the cooking zones off, allowing extra time for other tasks.
Boost
Touching the boost control button ‘B’ , which can be used on any of the 4 cooking zones, will increase the heat to maximum. This function will return to the original heat setting after 5 minutes, unless manually turned off.
‘Plug and Play’
This hob is ‘plug and play’ meaning there is no need to hardwire as it comes with a 13amp plug attached. 2.8kW of power is split between the hobs.
Installation
See manual for installation guidelines. Including information on positioning, ventilation, power supply & general good practices.
Safety
Control Panel Lock – prevent unintended use (e.g. children accidentally turning the cooking zones on).
Heat Indicator Light – hot hob warning light.
Over-Temperature Protection – A temperature sensor monitors the temperature inside of the hob. If an excessive temperature is monitored, the hob will stop operating automatically.
Another safety feature of the hob is automatic shutdown. This occurs when a cooking zone is left on for an extended period of time. The higher the temperature the quicker the appliance will power off (see manual for more details).
Guarantee
All new Montpellier appliances come with a 2 year parts & labour guarantee.
